Hello Fellow Homeschoolers!
Homeschooling is a beautiful choice that comes with both freedom and responsibility, and sometimes, a little fear. I know because I homeschooled one of my children in high school. As a teacher, I was also lucky enough to have summers off and even have two years at home full-time when my children were young. l. I used these times to take the opportunity to teach without my children even realizing it! Whether you are a full-time or part-time homeschooler, I understand that you are always looking for ways to use your time wisely and make learning enjoyable. This can be rewarding and also challenging.
What if I’m not covering everything my child needs? Most homeschool parents feel that way at some point. You will learn to trust the process and your child’s progress.
What if my child is behind? Children all learn at their own pace. You have the gift of flexibility to meet them right where they are.
What if I’m not cut out for this? You are, because you care enough to try. Nobody does this perfectly, not even certified teachers at home!
Homeschooling lets you see learning unfold right in front of you, but you don’t have to do it alone. Here, you’ll find routines, book lists, and step-by-step literacy ideas that naturally fit into your daily home life. Whether your child is just learning letter sounds or working on advanced comprehension, I want to help make the journey clear and joyful for both of you.
In case you haven’t heard this today, you are doing enough, and you are giving your child an incredible gift.
