Thank you for your interest in connecting!

I enjoy collaborating with educators, schools, nonprofit organizations, educational publishers, EdTech companies, and research teams that are working to improve literacy outcomes for children. My work focuses on bridging literacy research and practice, helping translate evidence into meaningful instructional decisions, practical resources, and professional learning.

Areas of Collaboration

Literacy Consulting

Support for schools, districts, educational organizations, and EdTech teams seeking evidence-informed guidance on literacy instruction, assessment, MTSS, dyslexia, and early reading development.

Curriculum & Resource Review

Review and feedback on literacy curriculum, instructional materials, assessments, professional learning resources, and digital products with attention to research alignment, developmental appropriateness, instructional coherence, and practical classroom implementation.

Professional Learning & Speaking

Webinars, conference presentations, workshops, panel discussions, and professional learning sessions focused on topics such as:

  • Early literacy development

  • Dyslexia and reading difficulties

  • Evidence-informed reading instruction

  • MTSS and instructional decision-making

  • Using multiple sources of evidence to understand learners

  • Translating literacy research into classroom practice

Research Translation & Writing

Collaboration on practitioner-focused articles, educational resources, white papers, and other projects that make literacy research accessible and useful for educators, families, and educational organizations.

My published scholarship reflects this same commitment to bridging research and practice. My recent article, Beyond Screening Scores: Using Multiple Sources of Evidence to Inform Early Literacy Instruction, explores how educators can move beyond individual assessment scores to develop a more complete understanding of learners and make more informed instructional decisions.
